Good News!!

Jarod went to see the Pediatric Pulmonary specialist at Portsmouth yesterday, to get some insight on how hes progressing, and to get a referral to Kings Daughters if need be.

They did Chest Xrays, which I hear Jarod was not too thrilled about, and the doctor told Jay that for as sick as JJ was as a baby, there should be many tell-tale signs of lung damage and scarring.

Upon looking at the film, the dr. found there is absolutely NO scar tissue and NO damage to Jarods lungs, and they are 100% clear! He said they are the correct size for his age, and his heart is perfect!!!

I really was not nervous or that concerned about what the doctors would find, because Jarod has been INCREDIBLY healthy and has progressed quite normally for his age, in spite of his rocky beginnings. Hearing that wonderful news just confirmed to me that we are pretty much out of the woods! Also, the fact that he does not have any acute or chronic issues with his lungs such as Asthma, is a miracle in of itself.

So, as of now, there is no need for referrals to the Childrens Hospital! JJ is a healthy, thriving, terrible "two"!!!!
