We're here!

I need to play catch up with my blog, so here goes:

Weve been in Japan just little over a week! It really is beautiful here- the sunsets alone are enough to write home to mom about. My goodness! The water, unbelievable...the sights, plenty to behold...the people, 95% polite and welcoming....the food, OMG!....the shopping, PLENTIFUL! The list goes on and on!

The first week we had some issues with paperwork not arriving, which basically caused us to be non existent on the island. Not such a great feeling! We were also not able to get into a house immediately because of the holdup. After many phone calls, trips running all around base, etc etc, the problem has been resolved. We are hoping this week will be much better than the last, and hopefully a house is in the near future.

This really is an amazing place, and Im glad we are here....of course we miss our families and our puppy, but thankfully there is enough around here to keep us busy over the next 36 months (or so). All will make the time pass much faster!

Thank you for all your prayers and support over the past few weeks....they have been so helpful and comforting. We are finally getting on track, and hope the next 2-3 years are exciting and busy!!!!!!
